Not far from the well-known „Donauschlinge“ the small city of Peuerbach, which roots go back to the early Middle Ages, is situated.
The famous son of the city, Georg Aunpehk von Peuerbach ecouraged the artists Manfred and Billa Hebenstreit, living in Peuerbach, to install an object of outstanding art: the Hebenstreit – celstial body – project named KOMETOR.
